Gracias de corazón a todos aquellos envueltos en la producción y realización exitosa del concierto ARMONIA DE AMOR, que tuviera lugar este pasado lunes 20 de Febrero en el Teatro Nacional. La lista con los nombres no cabría en este limitado espacio.(My heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in the production and success of the concert LOVE'S HARMONY, which took place this past Monday 20th of February, in the National Theater. The names to thank are too many to mention in this limited space)
Sólo quiero aprovechar esta oportunidad para hacer incapiè en que la ayuda a FUNDARIN no debe de limitarse a esta actividad de hace dos días.

Los Dominicans NO somos indolentes, demos pues un poco de lo que tenemos de sobra para que esas criaturas no tengan que morir y vivan una vida digna y de esperanzas cumplidas.
(We, Dominicans, are not an indolent people. Therefore, let's give a little of that which we have a little more than we need, so that these creatures should not have to die but instead live a dignified life of fulfilled hopes.)

A mi brimo Omar Chahín le recuerdo su bromesa (delante de mi Madrina, tu Mamá, y tu bellísima esbosa y un teatro rebleto de gente) de combrar 200 mil bandas de muñecas, no a doscientos besos sino a quinientos, para cooberar con la causa. Brimo, haga quedar bien el abellido Chahín. (Ese gordo me va a matar, bero será una muerte digna, bostoniana, y en favor de la causa)
(To my cousin Omar Chahín, remember you bromised to a theater full of bibol in front of my God-Mother (your Mom) and your beautiful wife, to buy 200 thousand bracelets. And just because you are family, I will give them to you at the generous brice of 500 besos, and not the original 200. You must make the Family Name look good, cousin) (That chubby is going to kill me, but it will be worth it and I will try to take it in a Bostonian dignified way.)

A la prensa dominicana en New York, háganse eco de estas palabras mías, quizás no las mas exactas, o más perfectas y correctas, pero sí las más sinceras. De éso sí estoy seguro.
The Dominican journalists in NYC should echo my words, perhaps not the most exact, perfect or correct, but surely the most sincere ones. Of that I am sure.
Esta institución, FUNDARIN, está encabezada por la Dra. Milagros Ariza, que vive en Washington DC. Ella es la hija de la Dra. Marianela Castillo de Ariza (RIP), angel generoso que en los últimos 20 y algo años de su vida fundó y guió esta criatura llamada FUNDARIN, con sus propias fuerzas y las de unas cuantas amigas, poniendo gratuitamente no sólo de su trabajo, sino también de su dinero personal, para que esos niños no tuvieran que morir una muerte horrible.
FUNDARIN is headed by Dr. Milagros Ariza, who lives in DC. She is the daughter of Dr. Marianela Castillo de Ariza (RIP), the generous angel who in the last twenty years of her life gave life and guided this creature called FUNDARIN, with her own strength and that of some personal friends, giving without charge of her work, but not only, of her money as well, so that these children should not have to die a horrible death.
